The Academic Technology Support Coordinator is part of the Faculty Support team and reports to the Associate Director for Digital Learning Environments and Faculty Support.
This position will support PSU faculty in using technology through both just-in-time support at the Office of Academic Innovation (OAI) Faculty Support Center, providing both face to face and digital technology training opportunities for faculty, and by maintaining digital technology support resources for the OAI faculty support website (OAI+).
It will also assist the Associate Director in coordinating the operation of the Faculty Support Desk, by maintaining and overseeing the administration of OAI’s Salesforce instance, assisting with scheduling the Faculty Support desk, and working with the Associate Director to maintain systematic and ongoing communication to faculty about available technologies and technology support services.
All of these duties will be informed by best practices in digital pedagogy. The position will work to assist the Associate Director in maintaining the Digital Learning Environment, and will assist other OAI staff in developing and maintaining new and innovative support materials for faculty. This position will also assist OAI in research into best practices in Digital Learning, with an emphasis on new and emerging technologies.
BA/BS with 3+ years of related experience or Master’s with 1+ year of related experience

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement
The expected starting annual salary rate for this position will be between $50,748 and $55,304. The starting salary may be negotiable above this range, however it will be dependent upon the knowledge, experience, skills and abilities of the chosen candidate, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR.
