Assisted Selling Online Chat Agent Date: Dec 29, 2020 Location: Atlanta, GA, USA Company: Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc Job Description MAJOR FUNCTION: Communicate with customers through live chat on to answer questions, refer Customers to retail stores, and close online sales. COMPENSTATION: Up to $20 per hour HOURS WORKED: Work full time at 40 hours per week. Schedules fluctuate and rotate with nights, weekends, and holidays. SPECIFIC DUTIES: – Respond to customer chats inside the online chat portal within 30 seconds. – Effectively manage multiple concurrent chats. – Navigate , Havertys’ proprietary business intelligence systems, Havertys’ proprietary CRM, and other resources to find solutions for customer queries. – Document issues and resolutions that arise from chat queries and look for trends. – Assist customers in their navigation of . – Refer chat customers to Havertys retail stores when appropriate. – Achieve a high (4+) customer satisfaction score on post-chat surveys. – Help customers complete their spaces with Havertys furniture. – Close and complete online sales. – Participate in and successfully complete all required trainings as determined by the chat leadership team. – Ensure all Havertys policies are adhered to. – Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements REQUIRED: – Must have excellent computer skills, including extremely fast typing skills with correct spelling and grammar – Must excel at multi – tasking, managing stress, and maintaining composure within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment – Must be self-motivated to achieve individual and team goals – Must respond positively to coaching and feedback – Must be able to professionally interact with customers and team members in a way that leaves them in a positive state of mind – Must be detail oriented – Must have a high school diploma or equivalent PREFERRED: – Some college level education – Furniture product knowledge – Retail sales experience – Experience in a role that works directly with customers – Experience working for Havertys Furniture, preferably in a retail showroom – Completion of sales onboarding training for Havertys Furniture Disclaimer This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
