Camp Counselor Position in Walnut Creek, CA from Forma Gym, US

We are looking for a Camp Counselor to help run our pre-kindergarten camp! This is a great opportunity to utilize your skills working with children to help the local community in a time of need.

This position is Monday-Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm or 12:30pm – 5:30pm ~ 25 hours per week. You will be working with kids 3-5 years old. We are looking for someone that can commit to Five, three week sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Check children in and out
• Perform temperature checks
• Creating a safe environment for the kids
• Monitor the children ensuring they are focused and engaged throughout the camp hours
• Communicate and practice exceptional customer service standards
• Practice a clean and safe environment for staff, members and children
• General cleaning of toys and full room during, before, and after sessions

Requirements:

• Must possess, or get upon hiring, a valid CPR certification
• Must be trustline certified
• Must have excellent communication skills, positive energy, and time management skill.

-Daycare experience preferred
-Highschool Education preferred

-Experience working with kids required
