Shift times: 10:00AM-3:00PM

The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Essential Job Functions:
–Cleaning & Maintenance

• Cleans, maintains, and assembles equipment ensuring proper usage.

–Administration

• Communicates issues or problems promptly to the supervisor.

–Cleaning & Maintenance

• Maintains work area in a clean, neat and orderly manner.

–Handwashing & Hygiene

• Practices good handwashing and personal hygiene including wearing clean uniforms, covering hair, and using gloves properly.

–Food Preparation

• Prepares, assembles and delivers food and supplies on time and according to lists or tallies, as needed.

–Food & Refrigeration Temp

• Records food and refrigeration temperatures accurately, including in kitchens and within units where there are patient refrigerators.

–Food Serving

• Serves food according to food regulatory standards for temperature, in the correct portion and presented in an attractive manner.

–Supplies

• Stores equipment and supplies according to standards.

–Food & Nutrition

• Transports or stores food safely, including covering, dating and labeling foods.

–Food Tray Delivery

• Completes all steps related to passing of patient food trays in a timely, courteous manner using clean technique.
