Position Summary: The Department of Statistics is continuing to grow and we are looking for a new staff member to join our department. We are seeking someone with strong organizational skills for the large-scale planning and organization around the department’s course offerings, teaching plan, and course access. Additionally, someone with an appreciation and understanding of best practices in online education to help the department grow its offerings. Evidence of strong organizational skills and managing complex projects. Evidence of experience with one or more learning management systems. Evidence of strong writing and communication skills. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in an academic department related to instructional needs. Ability to work quickly, accurately and within a constrained timeframe. Evidence of a collaborative and team-based approach. Experience in training others in online educational tools. Background in statistics or data science.
