Position: Maintenance and Utility Attendant
Location: Downtown Detroit Parking garages
​Full Time (Wed – Sun; 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

The Position: Maintenance and Utility Attendant

Responsible for overseeing general maintenance of all locations to include general upkeep, landscaping, clean up, installations, and special projects as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Light and Medium duty maintenance work including by not limited to:

• o Pressure washing
• o Power sweeping
• o Painting
• o Snow removal/salting (as needed)
• o Basic repairs
• o General cleaning, trash pick up
• o General parking equipment repair
• Operations of the following tools and machinery:

• o General tools
• o Pressure washer
• o Other items as needed
• Ensures that all safety standards are maintained
• Reports concerns, problems, and questions to the Maintenance/Account Manager
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as team
• Able to work with a diverse group of people
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess strong organizations and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Active/valid driver’s license is required
