The position functions as a key operator and trainer for instrumentation in assigned discipline. The MT functions as charge person as assigned. Bachelor degree in Medical Technology or field related to area or specialty. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certification Agency, HEW or military certification is required. New hires must attain certification within 12 months of hire. If you are someone who likes to work in a team environment, while having the flexibility to be an independent problem solver this is the position for you! – Candidate will support overnight schedule from 22:00-08:30a, variable Sunday-Thursday, every 3rdweekend, and rotating holiday – Candidate will perform testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, POCT, and Micro-setups. – Candidate will also support specimen processing with receiving specimens, calling critical results and support phlebotomy with venipuncture collections.
