MRI Technologist in Menomonie, WI from Mayo Clinic, US

Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography or nuclear medicine program. Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.

Additional qualifications

MRI Technologist experience preferred.

License or certification

ARRT certified in Radiography or NMTCB
ARRT certified in MRI within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees.
Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership.
Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure).

Compensation Detail

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $29.08 per hour.
