Job description
JOB DUTIES
Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner, acknowledging them upon arrival
Directing cars and ensuring safety procedures are followed
Effectively communicating information verbally regarding the event and venue
Maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, safety, and overall appearance of his/her assigned area
Offer assistance to guests throughout the event
Answering questions about the event and assisting guests with questions, directions, etc.
Interacting with other employees in a friendly and professional manner
Responding to guest inquiries and concerns promptly and with courtesy
Maintaining a level of patience with guests (complaints, lost items, general directions)
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the event
Listening, responding to, and resolving guest inquiries, complaints, and compliments in a friendly and professional manner
Maintaining a level of patience with guests (complaints, lost items, general directions)
Primarily outdoor event, exposed to heat, cold, humidity, wind and rain
Requirements
One year of customer service experience
Excellent communication skills; the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive speaking voice
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Wearing a uniformed themed costume
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Ability to stand for 8+ hours
Must have the ability to work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to work majority of the nights of the event.
Must be able to arrive on time for your shift
Benefits
Salary: $13/hour
Hours per week: 30 – 40 hours
COVID-19 COMPLIANCE
Safety at the Night of Lights OC drive-thru experience is our top priority for our guests and team members. Guests will remain in their vehicles at all times with the exception of using the restrooms and we will be using a contactless ticketing system. In addition, to provide a safe experience for all, we will be practicing all of the safety guidelines set forth by the CDC, State of California and County of Orange, including, but not limited to: daily staff health screenings/temperature checks, strict social distancing, hand washing, cleaning and disinfecting high touch areas, and providing PPE for all staff. Covid-19 testing will be required.
