Summary of Job Duties: The Boys and Girls Club of Fayetteville is seeking exciting individuals to join our team!!! Our goal is to provide a safe place during the out of school time hours, where children are provided with opportunities to reach their full potential and encouraged to pursue their dreams.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work as a team with other staff members to ensure all children are well cared for and supervised at all times
- PARTICIPATE in all activities with children. Encourage and facilitate participation in all activities by implementing appropriate strategies, such as visual structure and reinforcement systems
- Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance or approved discipline, as needed
- Maintaining a safe workplace by monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional issues and reporting concerns to staff and parents
- Assist with virtual learning of students
- Adhere to CDC/ Organization guidelines concerning COVID-19
Length of employment:
August 24th, 2020- June 11th, 2021 (Holidays will coincide with Fayetteville Public School Holidays)
Schedule:
Available hours Monday- Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (will depend upon student’s availability to work)
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
- Attentiveness to the needs and safety of children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of childcare experience is preferred
