Job Description
The Utah Department of Corrections (UDC) is looking for a Part-Time Licensed X-Ray Technologist to conduct x-ray procedures on inmates at the Utah State Prison in Draper, Utah.
The X-Ray Technologist recommends and maintains procedures, equipment and supplies for the x-ray and monitors their use. Has a commitment to teamwork, customer service, and the patient experience.
A X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for:
Processing paperwork.
Maintaining and operate imaging equipment.
Setting up x-rays for examination.
Following precise instructions about the areas needing imaging to obtain a quality image.
Analyzing and interpret images alongside physicians.
Scheduling patient x-ray exams.
Maintaining accurate records and logs.Ideal Candidate:
Possess Associates degree or higher from an accredited program.
Passed ARRT exam.
Licensed in the State of Utah as a Radiological Technologist.The ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of principles, theories, and practices of medicine. The ability to work independently and an understanding of interactions and adverse reactions to drugs, medications and their dosage.
